TACTILE MENU

This is part of a system in a changing area for a swimming pool.

The plan shows disabled people's, women's, men's and family changing areas. It uses a red triangle, a yellow circle, a blue square and a green star respectively for each of these.



At the bottom of the sign is a tactile legend giving the symbols and what they indicate.

TACTILE SYMBOLS ON DOORS

The symbols are then used on the name plates of the doors.

More importantly, the tactile symbols are repeated near the door handles, so that they can be felt while reaching for a door handle before the door is opened.
