How do I select furniture suitable for elderly and/or disabled people?
Your local county or district council's Social Services occupational therapists should be able to put you in touch with your nearest Centre for Disabled Living.
They will have lists of suppliers. There is also usually an occupational therapist in attendance who can give you a more detailed insight into the factors involved. You will need a range of furniture to help different users. In particular, seat heights should range from medium to high.
